Music > Concrete Blonde -- "Tomorrow Wendy"

Thank you Emme, Sarah and Jessica for signing the guestbook :) I actually haven't been striking or anything, it isn't the reason for lack of updates! Christmas season has eaten me up and kept me incredibly busy. I was going to post two new chapters of Chasing Hearts, but my Dreamweaver decided to die and I have to rework things out. Sometimes I really hate php. Instead, I have a different surprise of sorts.

The surprise? Hiding Out is back and better than ever. There's a difference with the story this time. Quite a huge difference. The characters are a little different, plus... its going to turn out to be a huge collaboration! So far on the boat we have Aeryn (writing as character: Jayden). There are more openings if you peer at the characters. Feel free to contact if you are interested.

Hurrah! Thanks to those who voted. The following awards have been added to the Trophy Room :)
Best Collaboration: Chasing Hearts
Best Comedy: Chasing Hearts
Best Female Lead (Runner-Up): Scarlett Verington in Little Earthquakes

Also on another note... you should also go to where Dream is at the moment...

Vote my dears.

Amber, Anna, Renee, Allie, Sarah and Mel..
Thank you for signing the guestbook!

Now, being me, I can't quite contain this. As cheerful and happy as the story looks so far - yes, Taylor will have a huge chance coming up. Only not in this story, but in the sequel to it. I had a lot of fun writing this next chapter for some reason. I will not say what is going to happen in the story, but you can read it as it goes. It's a sick and evil twist pretty much (not shocking coming from me and this series).

A new chapter of Little Earthquakes has been posted.

My little rule of thumb is this: I will update whatevr has been commented upon. For instance, I'm regretfully informing you I am not posting a new chapter of Chasing Hearts. It's okay with me though. It's just so strage to be sitting on a huge pile of chapters.

What else? The Nylon Magazine interview is posted ;)

If you read anything at all.
Sign the damn book.
End of bloody story.

Music > HIM -- "Buried Alive by Love"

Mel, thank you for signing the guestbook.

I debated on whether or not I would bring this up, only three days after reopening the website. I spoke to a fellow writer and she didn't think it was too soon. Only three days ago I opened up after a brief hiatus. Now, by a number of hands, how many of you remember why I went on a hiatus? Winner gets a cookie. I feel like the ignored school teacher who cannot get anything through to anyone despite the platform I have been provided.

In this day and time, there is something called a counter. I decided to finally make it blatantly obvious. I reset them not too long ago, to be fair. Upon entering, you can indeed see the hit counter. My hits are not counted because I've blocked my address, mine does not have a factor in it. I've also blocked all of my close friends' addresses.

I know you will think that I am a complete and utter bitch, but remember this: I am the bitch who likes to regularly update. I think a lot of writers of Hanson fiction have caved in over time due to lack of motivation, maybe they grew out of it or maybe they thought people stopped listening because they were not vocal. I can understand not having much to say, but whenever I read a story, I sign the guestbook to let the writer know there is someone out there who cares enough to even give the tiniest of nudges. I hate that I have to wave an orange flag and scream at the top of my lungs to get people to sign. In the end, I find out who my most loyal readers are: Amber, Mel, Amy, Jenna and Autumn. I love you guys, thank you so much for giving a nudge.

As long as my loyal readers are around, I will update. But those of you who remain silent I will probably continue to have a growing anger and simply cut it down to the core group of readers I just listed. I will email them and leave all of this up as an archieve, unfinished. More work goes into this website than you think does. I'm even speaking of my completed story also. I was astounded that in the month of November, I recieved 62 hits on Silence Is Golden and no one made a single signing about it. This is while I was still on hiatus and everyone knew damn well as to why. I've carried on discussions with other writers about this issue and most of them tend to lay down and take it. I refuse to play this stupid immature little game anymore. I will get upset as I please.

If you read anything at all.
Sign the damn book.
End of bloody story.

Music > Tori Amos -- "I Can't See New York"

Cheers to the reopening of Fractured Fairytales! There are some brand new sections, so take a look around. The layout features Alexis Dziena, who I use as Scarlett Verington in the Silence Is Golden series. Each section has been completely revamped and some changes have been made.

The announcement concerning Chasing Hearts is going to remain withheld, due to a variety of reasons. You'll take note that it is back on the internet and running again. There is a brand new chapter up. Please excuse any typos, I haven't fixed some of it, although it has been edited. I simply haven't had the time to do that quite yet since the main site took a lot of my time.

Little Earthquakes also has another chapter finally posted up! Upon the completion Little Earthquakes there will be a small pause. I am pleased to announce to everyone that Sarah, my co-writer for Chasing Heartshas written and completed the third in the Silence Is Golden series. Once her part has been posted I will begin posting the fourth and final installment: Cooling.

I'm in the process of revamping the page of Silence Is Golden, since a lot of the html is a bit messed up.

Again, thank you to those who signed the guestbook. It genuinely gave me the motivation to put the website back up, when I was contemplating not coming back until the New Year hit. At this moment, I'm going to point you in the direction of Walking Contradiction, Aeryn's site. Read her stories, they're WONDERFUL. I'm dead serious. Sign the guestbook too. [nods]

Anyhow.... YAY FOR THE REOPENING!!!

As usual... sign the guestbook if you want more and give some feedback upon the story you've read.

Most of all, I want to thank all of those who signed the guestbook:
Amber, Mel, Amy, Jenna and Autumn.
