Bit Late, But Lots of Updates!

Sunday, December 2nd, 2007

Well, it seems that I’m a bit late in updating this week. Sorry about that! The good news is that I completely NaNoWriMo well over 50,000 words. It was quite exciting. Now I just have a lot of editing to do. I’ve posted Chapter Five of Orange Sky. You’ll be pleased to find that Zac makes another appearance in this chapter.

While I have a lot of editing to do for Orange Sky, I’m also really excited to jump back into writing Solace! It was nice to take the break and work on something different for a while, but I love writing Silly, so I’m really happy to get back to her story.

Also, for those of you who enjoyed reading Catalyst make sure to check out tomorrow’s story at 25 Days of Christmas. It’s a companion piece to Catalyst that I wrote a couple of months ago. And if you haven’t already checked out the two stories that are already up, make sure you do that and sign the guestbook! They’re both really good. I’m already beginning to warm up and get a little Christmas spirit! wink

You should also check out the Fools Banquet Awards. It’s a short session of awards for stories from just this year. Check it out and see who’s already nominated and if you’re favorites aren’t already nominated, fill out the form and make sure they are!

And, go check out Hayley’s new domain imaginary-love.org. While I might have lost a hostee, I’ve gained a new affiliate, so I can’t be too terribly upset even though I’ll miss having her here at aitp.org! sad

And, of course, thank you to everyone who signed the guestbook: Nat, Jessica, Katie, Becca, Foxtrot, Jen, and Mel. I really appreciate your comments and the fact you took the time to sign the guestbook! I hope you enjoy the new chapter, and once you’re finished make sure you go and check out everything I mentioned above as well as Natalie’s story for NaNoWriMo - Revelations. It’s excellent and it’s my current fave, so give her some love!

Early Update

Monday, July 9th, 2007

I’m making an early update this week. I was going to update tomorrow, but some things came up and I wasn’t sure I’d have a chance, and I think Wednesday is definitely out too. I’m not quite sure how updates are going to be over the next few weeks. Nikki will be here for over two weeks, and I’m sure I’ll be busy, but I’ll try to make updates, but no promises on when they’ll come. In the meantime I’m posting Chapters Twenty-Nine and Thirty of Starlight.

Don’t forget to vote at The Soundtrack Awards and Chaos Into Art, and make sure to check out all of the great stories at The Spark Inside and also my new affiliate - Chele!

Thank you to everyone who commented on Catalyst. I really appreciated the comments. I hope you enjoy the new chapters of Starlight and forgive me for keeping you hanging! smile

Bridge Builders, Starlight, Affiliates & More

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

Hello on this sunny Wednesday evening. I feel … chipper. I have absolutely no idea why, but let’s go with this, okay? It feels like summer is well on it’s way, and I love summer. Well, except for the allergies. Anyway, I have a couple of updates tonight. First, I just updated Bridge Builders with the second chapter. I set up a mailing list for the story, so for now on, I probably won’t be posting about updates here too much. And I’ve added Chapter Thirteen of Starlight.

I’m excited about the this chapter because it’s the first turning point on the story. I won’t say what it is because I don’t want to spoil it, but this is what the first twelve chapters were leading up to. Some of you might have figured it out already since I said it came from personal experiences, but if you hadn’t figured it out already, it might be a bit of a surprise. Either way, I hope you enjoy.

Things over at The Spark Inside are well on their way. Everyone has their challenge, and I’m really excited about mine. I’ve already started writing it. I also have a new affiliate! Go visit Alie over at RunawayRun.net! I haven’t had a chance to read yet, but I’ve heard great things about her story Pretty Flamingo, so go check it out. I will be doing the same very soon as well. smile

Thank you to Hayley, Michelle G, Kristin, Becca, Dawn, Paulina and Mel for signing the guestbook! I appreciate all of your comments! Enjoy the updates and don’t forget to sign the guestbook!
