Still Alive!

Saturday, June 14th, 2008

It’s been a while, huh? I apologize for the lack of updates. I’ve been struggling with writing lately. It’s just hard getting back into the swing of things. I have a few small updates that I wanted to make, though.

First things, The Spark Inside is back in full swing. So far six stories have been posted, and several more yet to come. My story is called If Only and it’s already been posted, so, see, I have been writing!

I also set up a new section on the site that’s a collection of all of my drabbles and short stories. You can fine the link on the sidebar under Vignette Collection. There are some new drabbles up that I’ve just been working on at random.

I have been working on Solace, and while I don’t have a new chapter for you right now, I did send off a chapter to my beta. As soon as she has a chance to read over and get back to me, I’ll put that up as well. There’s also a new theme. Zac and Silly to help get me back in the spirit of Solace.

So I hope you’ll check out the updates, however small they are. And thanks to Foxtrot, Katie, Molly, Jen and Cathy for signing the guestbook. It’s been so long since I’ve updated that I’m surprised anyone still visits. Hopefully, I’ll be able to liven the place up with some more updates soon!

Friday Again?

Friday, January 11th, 2008

Friday again? This week just flew right by. I’d like to know where it went. Anyhow, Chapter Eleven of Orange Sky is posted along with a new layout. I also cleaned up a few of the pages, and added the two short stories I wrote for 25 Days of Christmas to the site, so check those out if you havent already. They’re called Say Hello To My Little Friend and Home.

Chapter Eleven has some funny moments. I know one of them came from a challenge, and I’m not sure how you’re going to feel about the last half of this chapter, so I’m anxious to hear people’s thoughts. I won’t give anything away.

Thank you to kristin, Chelsi, Katie, Erin, Foxtrot and Nat for signing the guestbook. I hope you enjoy the new chapter!

New Found Glory - I Don’t Wanna Know

Friday, July 7th, 2006

I wish I could come up with some witty or amusing way to begin my updates. If only I could be more like Silly. Anyway, I’m too tired to try to be amusing or witty right now. Besides, I poured all of that into the chapter and half of Infinite I wrote earlier today, but you’ll have to wait to read those chapters because they’re unedited, and probably massively frightening to read. I believe I could be the typo queen, but I wouldn’t want to put myself up on a pedistal. Though I’m not sure many people would want to claim to be worse with typos than me.

Anyway, ramble much? Yes. So, I decided to be generous yet again and put up two new chapters of Infinite. And I did this despite the lack of feedback on the last chapter. So thank you Heather, Hayley, Becca, Michelle G, Maria, and Riikka for signing the guestbook and telling me what you thought of Chapter Eleven.

Hopefully, I’ll get a better response to Twelve and Thirteen. *hint hint* Besides the two new chapters, I have a new short story, which can be found at The Spark Inside. It’s called Something New. I’d really love to hear what people thought if it. I struggle with short stories, so please tell me if it’s any good or not.

Voting is still open at both the Reckless Abandon Awards and The Soundtrack Awards, so make sure you vote if you haven’t already. And These Walls is up on that polls at JSOR, so if you’re part of the book club and want it to be the next thing to read, vote here.

Remember feedback tends to make me a more generous updater. wink
