I know, I know! It’s been way too long since I’ve made any sort of updates, and I’m extremely sorry for that. I’ve been incredibly busy for the last several months, and it also hasn’t helped that I’ve been having a lot of trouble with writing. I just wanted to update and let everyone know that I am still around, and thank you to those people who voiced their concerns. I appreciate it!

Even though I don’t have any actual chapter updates to share, I’m not coming completely empty-handed. When I am online these days, I probably spend the majority of my time over at livejournal.com, and so I thought perhaps it was time to put aloneinthe@lj to use since I created the community with the intention of posting sneak peeks and extras there. I’ve already posted an excerpt from Chapter 5 of Solace over there. I also have several other things I plan to post there – such as some older pieces I’ve never posted publicly and a few random things I’ve been working on off and on since the start of the year. Among those are three Twilight related fics, a couple of Hanfic pieces and some teasers from chapters of Absolution.

So, assuming people actually since visit the site, you should head over to aloneinthe@lj and take a look. It also couldn’t hurt to join the community because some posts may be members only depending on the content. And thank you to Sahara, Daiana, Amber, Foxtrot, Cecilia W, Flash, katharine, Nikki, Michelle G, Kay, and Helen for signing the guestbook!

Well, what do you know? It’s been less than a week and I’m updating again. This time I’ve got 2 new chapters of Aftertaste thanks to Becca and her quick editing skills.

Sophie makes an appearance in the new chapters and there’s more Zac, which I imagine most people are most looking forward to. I’m still working on Chapter Five, but I think there will be more crime scene details in it, and Taylor might also be making an appearance. If not in Chapter Five, then almost definitely in Chapter Six. I think we’ll be introduced to all of the major characters by Chapter Seven.

I should be able to get back to editing and updating Absolution once I’ve finished the first six chapters of Aftertaste, which I’ll be working hard at doing all this week.
