Well, I intended to make this update around four hours ago. Unfortunately, the wind kept knocking the power out just as I was getting ready to upload Chapter Three of Starlight. On the bright side, I did do some writing on the laptop in the meantime. Well, bright side for me, I guess since you won’t be reading that chapter for a while. Anyway, the wind finally stopped knocking out the power, and Starlight has been updated.

I realize the chapter of Starlight are shorter than some of my other chapters, so I apologize for that. I have been updating more, so I hope that makes up for it. I think this chapter is a bit of a filler, but there’s some fun banter in here. Ya know, siblings and annoying food stealers. That’s always fun, right? In the next chapter you’ll get to see more of Kyrie and finally meet Tristan, too, so I’m anxious for that.

Also, if you’re a slacker like me and haven’t read The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most by Kristin, I strongly suggest you go read it. I just started reading it in the past week, and I’ve really enjoyed it. I’m almost caught up with what she has posted so far, and I can’t believe I hadn’t read it before. So, check it out if you haven’t already!

So please enjoy the update, and thank you for the comments in the guestbook. I’m glad I’m not the only one that sees a bit of Trip in Presley. Speaking of which, I had the urge to work on Buried Beneath the other night. I can’t tell you the last time that happened, so maybe – just maybe – I’ll finally get my ass into gear and work in on it again. And to Aimee and Katie – I don’t know whether I should be glad you have an addiction to my stories if I should apologize! Hopefully, it’s a good addiction that you don’t mind too much!

Alas, an update! And a new layout! Last week was busy busy busy. Thank god that’s over! Anyway, I’ve been working on Distorted Blessings this week. The chapter didn’t turn out to be as long as I was anticipating. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Everything I was planning to have in the chapter is there, so nothing’s missing.

So Chapter 33 of Distorted Blessings is posted. You should all be happy about the contents of this chapter, so make sure you sign the guestbook. I’d really like to know what you think.

I’m not sure how soon I’ll have the next chapter up. I’m going to try to work on it this weekend, but we’ll see what happens. I’m still working towards finishing before November. Speaking of November, I’d updated the NaNo Challenge page. I’m going to have a heck of a time piecing these challenges together on top of what I already have planned.

So thank you to everyone who signed the guestbook last time. It might be a while before I post anymore of Buried Beneath. Right now I’m just going to focus on finishing Distorted Blessings. Then I’ll be working on my NaNo story. Hopefully, I’ll finish all of it in November and then I can get back to work on Buried Beneath and Echo.
