Happy Friday! Well, it’s happy for me at least. I’m finished with classes for the year, and next semester will be my last. I’m quite excited! And I’m updating on Fridays again! So tonight I’ve posted Chapter Seven of Orange Sky. You might have also noticed that I updated the Etc section for that story. I’ve redone the soundtrack completely, and I really would recommend listening to the songs while you’re reading. I was listening to them a lot while I was writing the story.

I’m hoping to get back into writing Solace again. I need to reread what I already have written, but I haven’t had a chance yet. I’ve spent most of this week finishing my projects for finals and reading Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. I’ve been completely converted into a fan, and I’m quite anxious for the next book as well as the movie. If you haven’t read the books, you should definitely give them a try.

I’m thinking perhaps I should just start updating on Saturdays. Perhaps once I get through my finals - only one more week *hears a choir sing* - I’ll remember how to update when planned! Well, it seems that I’m a bit late in updating this week. Sorry about that! The good news is that I completely NaNoWriMo well over 50,000 words. It was quite exciting. Now I just have a lot of editing to do. I’ve posted Chapter Five of Orange Sky. You’ll be pleased to find that Zac makes another appearance in this chapter.

While I have a lot of editing to do for Orange Sky, I’m also really excited to jump back into writing Solace! It was nice to take the break and work on something different for a while, but I love writing Silly, so I’m really happy to get back to her story.

Also, for those of you who enjoyed reading Catalyst make sure to check out tomorrow’s story at 25 Days of Christmas. It’s a companion piece to Catalyst that I wrote a couple of months ago. And if you haven’t already checked out the two stories that are already up, make sure you do that and sign the guestbook! They’re both really good. I’m already beginning to warm up and get a little Christmas spirit!
