Happy Friday!

Friday, December 14th, 2007

Happy Friday! Well, it’s happy for me at least. I’m finished with classes for the year, and next semester will be my last. I’m quite excited! And I’m updating on Fridays again! So tonight I’ve posted Chapter Seven of Orange Sky. You might have also noticed that I updated the Etc section for that story. I’ve redone the soundtrack completely, and I really would recommend listening to the songs while you’re reading. I was listening to them a lot while I was writing the story.

I’m hoping to get back into writing Solace again. I need to reread what I already have written, but I haven’t had a chance yet. I’ve spent most of this week finishing my projects for finals and reading Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. I’ve been completely converted into a fan, and I’m quite anxious for the next book as well as the movie. If you haven’t read the books, you should definitely give them a try. wink

Don’t forget to nominate story at the Fools Banquet Awards. Nominations will close tomorrow night at midnight. And also don’t forget to check back for voting as well! And also over at Just Shy of Reality, we’re hoping to start up a new session of the book club, so please go and recommend some stories to read in the new year!

Thank you to Katie, Jessica, Foxtrot, Becca, Ronnie, Erin, and Mel for signing the guestbook! Chapter Seven is one of my favorites in this story, so I hope you’ll enjoy it as well!

Quick Update

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

I’m thinking perhaps I should just start updating on Saturdays. Perhaps once I get through my finals - only one more week *hears a choir sing* - I’ll remember how to update when planned! Anyway, Chapter Six of Orange Sky has been posted! Also, my story for 25 Days of Christmas titled Say Hello To My Little Friend was posted Monday, so if you haven’t already done it, go check it out along with all of the other posted stories!

Also, don’t forget to check out the Fools Banquet Awards and nominate your faves before time runs out! And go visit my newest hostee - Jenna - and read her story for NaNoWriMo, Duplicate!

Thank you to Nat, kristin, Foxtrot, Jessica, Becca, Katie, Jen, and Hayley for signing the guestbook!

Bit Late, But Lots of Updates!

Sunday, December 2nd, 2007

Well, it seems that I’m a bit late in updating this week. Sorry about that! The good news is that I completely NaNoWriMo well over 50,000 words. It was quite exciting. Now I just have a lot of editing to do. I’ve posted Chapter Five of Orange Sky. You’ll be pleased to find that Zac makes another appearance in this chapter.

While I have a lot of editing to do for Orange Sky, I’m also really excited to jump back into writing Solace! It was nice to take the break and work on something different for a while, but I love writing Silly, so I’m really happy to get back to her story.

Also, for those of you who enjoyed reading Catalyst make sure to check out tomorrow’s story at 25 Days of Christmas. It’s a companion piece to Catalyst that I wrote a couple of months ago. And if you haven’t already checked out the two stories that are already up, make sure you do that and sign the guestbook! They’re both really good. I’m already beginning to warm up and get a little Christmas spirit! wink

You should also check out the Fools Banquet Awards. It’s a short session of awards for stories from just this year. Check it out and see who’s already nominated and if you’re favorites aren’t already nominated, fill out the form and make sure they are!

And, go check out Hayley’s new domain imaginary-love.org. While I might have lost a hostee, I’ve gained a new affiliate, so I can’t be too terribly upset even though I’ll miss having her here at aitp.org! sad

And, of course, thank you to everyone who signed the guestbook: Nat, Jessica, Katie, Becca, Foxtrot, Jen, and Mel. I really appreciate your comments and the fact you took the time to sign the guestbook! I hope you enjoy the new chapter, and once you’re finished make sure you go and check out everything I mentioned above as well as Natalie’s story for NaNoWriMo - Revelations. It’s excellent and it’s my current fave, so give her some love!
